Hi, I am Javed.
I build things for the web. Lately, for the AI that reads it. Right now that is Prefer, where we show brands how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other engines describe them, then help them become the answer. I have been in search since 2012.
I was born and brought up in the slums of Mumbai. The expected path was finishing school and finding a stable job. Instead I studied computer science, taught myself to build, and started companies. One of them, Kustard, I bootstrapped to a $2M exit. In 2022 Forbes put me on its 30 Under 30 Asia list.
I have spoken at TEDx twice, at IIT Patna and Sunbeam Varuna, and represented India at the BRICS Innovation Forum in Moscow and We Make Future in Bologna.
